Description
Jotun Mare Nostrum SP is a self-polishing antifouling paint that gives continuous exposure of the active ingredient, providing effective fouling protection throughout the season. Suitable for various boat types, it is compatible with multiple substrates, including aluminium (only when using the white variant). Primarily for coastal leisure vessels, this product is not recommended for vessels solely operating in freshwater environments.
The biocide and the resin are dissolved in a predictable manner, and as a result there is always a new fresh layer of antifouling in contact with the sea water. This ensures a regular leaching rate of the biocides throughout the service life of the product.
Mare Nostrum SP is suitable for all types of boats and provides a good result for an entire season.
Only white colour is recommended for aluminium hulls.
Mare Nostrum can be applied over all International, Hempel and Awlgrip self-polishing antifoul.
Note: Only white (which is a creamy colour) is suitable for aluminium hulls.
